It was recently announced on developers.Facebook.com that Facebook will be going through a major overhaul.

If you’d like to see what the new profile looks like, log into Facebook.com then type new.Facebook.com into your browser. Facebook is allowing users to login to new.facebook.com at random, so if your timing is right you’ll be able to preview. This won’t permanently change the design of your current Profile but it will give you a glimpse of what they are working on.

The redesign is in Beta mode and some of the kinks aren’t fully worked out but you can be sure changes are coming shortly.
