Jenna Jameson is a renaissance woman, there’s no other way to describe her. In her thirty three years on this planet she went from being a humble stripper to the world’s most famous adult film star and from there she’s done everything from being a club owner, a cartoon, a TV star, and a New York Times best selling author. There is nothing this lady has not done. So what medium is the woman who brought adult entertainment into the mainstream going to conquer next? Comic books, Jenna Jameson is becoming a super heroine!
In one of the first announcements to come out of the San Diego Comicon, Jenna has inked a deal with Virgin Comics to star in her own comic book. The comic book is titled Shadow Hunter is the story of “a provocative super heroine who survives a brush with death only to find herself fighting the legions of hell for her very soul.�
Although no creative team has been announced yet other then acclaimed artist and video game designer Greg Horn on covers, people at Virgin Comics are excited about the project. “Jenna Jameson is a cultural force!� says Virgin Comics CEO Sharad Devarajan.  “An entrepreneur who is taking the taboo to the mainstream.�
As for the starlet herself when asked about her character Jenna didn’t reveal much but gave fans a good tease stating “My character is sultry, sexy, and kicks ass!� and that she’s “ thrilled to be working with Virgin to bring this story to life, first as comics and eventually in film and other formats.� And believe me Jenna we are too.
The first issue of Shadow Hunter will debut at comic shops in December 2007. A complete 144 page graphic novel will be available in June 2008. Buyer beware though, there will be no nudity in the book dues to the mainstream target audience. Until the launch however, please enjoy these pictures the lovely Jenna Jameson!
