She died of elective cosmetic surgery. Tragedy? Sure. But after watching the AMA Awards, you would have thought she died of cancer or leukemia. When she went in for her nose job/tummy tuck/ whatever - she accepted the risks of that surgery.
Over the weekend, thousands of people died of terminal diseases. People with families who have struggled and sacrificed with the hopes that their loved ones would be able to live or breathe one more day. They were NOT dreaming for smaller asses or nicer body parts.
My issue is that I was beaten up for several hours about keeping Kanye in my thoughts and prayers…yeah ok…you get one, but that’s it. There’s still a war going on, there’s some f***ing psycho in North Korea, Musharef is running Pakistan like Stewie Griffin…oh, wait - Kanye’s mom died from cosmetic surgery.
I was actually insulted as a viewer. After the 5th time, I was like - OK ENOUGH. Nope…nice try…think again. All I ask is that celebrities and other normally self-centered TV personalities remember that their tiny little microcosms of life, don’t mean sh** to the rest of us serfs when it comes to bad choices that they make. When they choose to drink and drive, have shooting contests with their adversaries, drugs, “keep it real,” take bad sex videos, I don’t feel sorry for them.
Furthermore, my problems are worse when compared - why doesn’t Kid Rock give a shout out to me. My dad has heart disease, he has surgeries every 5 months and he still has the same large ass and crooked nose.
I have dry balls. Poor Kanye, Amen. Let’s move on.

R u Fucking Kidding Me. You ass holes. Yes there are alot of things going on and people r dying all day everyday. But give Dr. Donda West respect. Yes her son has money and yes we will continue to here about how much his MAMA meant to him. So get over it. Why go there? No one said anything about race? When people die in GENERAL, short of being a celebrity, no one gives a shit, regardless of what color they are. I think the point the writer was making is that KW’s mom made a choice and the results were tragic - yes - but now it is all over the media as if she sacrificed her life for the good of mankind.

KW’s mother died not necessarily from cosmetic surgery…in fact, she had an existing health problem which made surgery a risk, period; whether it’d be by choice or not. So it’s plausible that she could’ve died from any type of surgery. Certainly it’s tragic that KW’s mom passed, it’s tragic when anyone’s mother passes, regardless of celebrity status. The media is being the media, haven’t we learned that yet? The lack of sympathy should arise not from anything due to race, or status, but from ignorance. The ignorant choice she made knowing the risk of death her surgery would cause; she has passed, let’s move on with our lives. Yes, there are indeed bigger problems out there, I think we tend to focus on things less relevant because it’s somewhat of a relief to be able to talk about who’s dating who and what not; either way, we should always know what’s important. Plus, we can’t really force our priorities onto other people because we all know people will believe whatever they want to; it’s the beauty of free will.
