Back in early June, we told you about MSN’s Gas By Zip Code, a nifty little website that broke down the price of gas at stations in your area.
I’ve found a new gas price tracking website called GasBuddy.com that blows MSN out of the water.
GasBuddy.com allows you to check out local gas prices by zip code like MSN, but also offers the USA National Gas Temperature Map, an interactive flash map that allows you to see the difference in the price of gas across the country by color, green being the cheapest and red being the most expensive.
GasBuddy.com will certainly cut the cost of your summer travel, and is fun to zoom and check out the prices of surrounding towns in your area. Also, kind of depressing. But we’re just not going to think about that.
