I can see why some of these women have been charged. When the kid is 13 years old and the woman is 30, something is a bit off. The kids aren’t gonna want to be with someone their own age from then on. However, the women who were with kids 15, 16 plus, I don’t see the problem. At that age, I don’t see it being any different than if a 20 year old was to be with a 30 year old. The only thing that comes to mind is that it’s inappropriate considering their parent-teacher relationship, let alone unprofessional.

For male teachers with younger girls though, I can see the problem. Girls have always been protected more so than boys, and they always will be. Also, lets all be honest. A boy who’s having sex with an older lady is gonna be proud, and is probably going to see nothing more than sex. This pride is probably what got these women in trouble when the boys were bragging to all the other boys and another teacher overheard(probs jealous that they aren’t getting any). A girl however is going to look further into the relationship. Women have come to realize what men want, however girls of 13, 14 years old are thinking this guy really loves me. Now, for those of you getting pissed that every guy on here has said they wish they could have had these teachers…what the hell did you expect? First of all, it is a double standard. Before anyone gets up in arms, I just want to point out a few things: an 18 year old high school senior sleeping with a sixteen your old sophmore would be guilty of stat rape in most states, I know from experience it is in my state, punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Next I would like to point out that psycho sexual studies say that both male and female adolensents ages 17 and below on average, do not comprehend the sexual dynamic, and sex with anyone at these ages can cause severe psychological problems, such as trouble forming and maintaining healthy relationships, trust issues, and codependancy. on the flip side of the coin, I would like to point out that no matter how small the sentance may seem, it is not all sweet and sugary. The time spent on probation is grueling, they will not be allowed to have contact with any minors, including family members without written consent. Even their own chilren, it can take months for a P.O. to decide that it is safe for them to be around minors. Even then they have to document any contact with any minor, again, any minor, they see a minor while they are at the store, they have to document it. They want to go to church, they have to arrange special service for adults only. Then of course there is the rediculous cost. Pyscho sexual evaluations, upwards of 800 dollars, weekly group therapy 100 a week, registration as a sex offender, depnding on your state, 30 to 300 dollars, cost of suppervision, 200 a month, so on and so on. all this while having to take polygraphs to tell if you have reported every contact with a minor or with anything that aroused you in any way, and if you have told the truth about how much, if any, masturbating you have done. I’ve actually known men and women who opt to stay in prison instead of going through all of this. So they are not actually getting off that easy.
