Ok, so we’re not sure why, but for the next hour, Tom Cruise’s Website is counting down to…something. We don’t kow what it is: Risky Business special (who’s 25th anniversary he’s promoting today on Oprah)? Katie’s pregnant again? The Scientologists are going to summon Xenu to bring a fiery rain down upon our blastphemous heads?

I don’t know, but pretty much anything that guy does these days scares me, let alone a f*cking mysterious countdown. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to smother my fears with more Cinco de Mayo drinking.
Either way, here’s recent video of Tom Cruise discussing the, ahem, couch incident on Oprah. This is from part one. Part two will air later today, as long as TC doesn’t kill us all, before then.
Update: Ok, so the apocalyptic predictions were a bit over the top. All the stupid countdown was for is a letter to his fans, talking about how incredible it is that the earth orbited around the sun 25 times since he made Risky Business.

My hope with this Site is to bring you in and share with you the fun I experience every day during the filmmaking process, from working on the script, to the making of the film through to what we finally see when we settle intou our seats and the lights go down.
That seems reasonable enough. Trouble is, every time this guy does something that’s not choreographed, he doesn’t come across so sane. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to stay on this “journey” a little longer. One of these days, he’ll crack, and we’ll be there to scatter the pieces even further.
