‘07 Overdose Sparked SDSU Drug-Bust

0_22_poliakoff_jenny_drugraid.jpgAfter dying from a cocaine and alcohol overdose last year, 19-year-old SDSU student Shirley ‘Jenny’ Poliakoff’s fate has been rectified after her death incited an investigation that resulted in yesterday’s massive drug-bust at San Diego State University. Ninety-six people were arrested, and a plethora of drugs and guns confiscated from six school fraternities.

“The biggest thing is that I’m glad something came of it,” Jenny’s older brother, Nate Poliakoff, who graduated from SDSU in ‘06, said in an interview with FOXNews.com. “After her death, we didn’t know there was an investigation going on, but I’m glad that the administration stepped up to the plate and said, we’re not going to tolerate this.”

Yeah, seriously. You know what would have been better? If they’d stepped up to the plate a year ago…

Damn shame about her…not to mention all the others. the real bitch of it is is if they did crack down at college campuses everyone would cry foul and it would be a violation of their ‘civil liberties’…tragically, this will continue.

College kids, you would think, would be a little smarter than this…it’s the dumbest thing ever.

sure its upsetting she died at such a young age, buts funny how her br-ho didn’t mention his feelings knowing his sister was a coke head, i mean she knew the consequences, so tough shit for her.

drugs will always be a part of college, if that girl od-ed of campus, there’d be no investigation
