The fields with the biggest pay increases for college graduates from 2004-2005 are aerospace and aeronautical engineering majors (9 percent), marketing majors (6 percent) and economics and finance majors (5.1 percent).

You should really factor in commision when talking about an entry level sales job. In NYC it is not uncommon for those jobs to offer a base pay of 37k but a commision structure set up so that you will clear 100k if you hit your sales # for the year.
