Gays Rejoice with Petruzelli’s Win

So the meanest homeless man in the world was destroyed by the most outspoken self-described “goofy homo” I have ever seen. There are some pretty disturbing pictures out there that put this new MMA hero into a new light. All of a sudden, Chapelle’s sissy fights does not seem too far away.

Yet, in other circles, CBS is reeling from their long-term relationship with Elite XC which is almost completely based on the saleability and marketability of Kimbo Slice. What is ironic, is the backlash taking place in the network and in Elite XC itself. It appears that Kimbo did not want to fight Seth, and actually insisted on a cash bonus of $10,000 to take the fight.

Kimbo Goes Down - Who is Seth Petruzelli?

Kimbo got knocked-the-f*&k out!

THEN, everyone started making excuses because everyone was scared that Kimbo and his posse were going to riot. “Oh, he took it on such short notice,” and the winner - Seth Petruzelli was even forced to pretend that he wasn’t just as unready for the fight. “He didn’t train for me, I didn’t train for him. That’s what happens,” Petruzelli said on CBS. “It was unexpected,” Slice said in response. “It’s all good.”At least Kimbo was prepared for Shamrock, who is a legend. Petruzelli was prepped for some scrub on the pre-fight card while people get beer before the fight.

Petruzelli beat the undefeated Ferguson in only 14 seconds in the first round. The fight was ruled a technical knock out after being stopped by the referee due to strikes. The blows left Ferguson stunned and bleeding with a large cut above his eye.

What is worse is that Shamrock didn’t fight…5 stitches? Another example of how CBS is not exactly ready for MMA. Shamrock was not medically cleared to fight by the Florida State Athletic Commission after receiving a cut above his eye while training last night - how bush league!

Oh yeah - Gina Carano is still ridiculously hot and she beat up some dumpy chick.

UPDATE: I am REALLY sick of everyone today talking about how Kimbo wasn’t prepared for Petruzelli and he trained for Shamrock. Let us break it down this way…the bell rang, Seth punched him in the face, Kimbo crumpled…was he NOT PREPARED FOR SHAMROCK TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE ? Cuz I have news for you, that was part of the plan in Shamrocks court. There was a definite plan to punch Kimbo in the face - that was confirmed. So enough of the gameplan sh*t - it didn’t even go to the ground at ALL. There were 14 seconds, and 8 of which were spent with Kimbo getting punched in the face…done.

Kill Your TV: Ultimate Guide to Free TV Online

I really hate television. The advertising, the soap opera endings to every popular show, local commercials that are all of a sudDEN LOUD AS F**KING BALLS. I cannot stand it. So, short of major sporting events that I give a crap about, I don’t really turn on my T.V set. Not sure why but the T.V. feels like a naggy woman in the room, demanding that I buy her things.

That said, television is going through a bit of a renaissance, coming out of the dark ages of the 90’s fictional fluff and finding more real, interesting stories in characters. (Battlestar Galactica, anyone?) Still, I cannot be bothered to turn my set on, because even the good shows share time and ad space with a complete bevy of reality TV garbage.

So I like the programming but cannot stand the delivery. What am I to do? Like most problems, this one can be solved by the interweb’s dump truck tubes. TV is available everywhere online. Most of it perfectly legally! Some of it in legal gray areas! Lets take a look.

Atlanta Braves Sign Actor Charlie Sheen

rick “wildthing vaughnDesperate for starting pitching after the loss of Mike Hampton and the ineffectiveness of Mark Redman, Kyle Davies and Lance Cormier, the Atlanta Braves have signed actor Charlie Sheen to a major league contract.

The star of Hot Shots! and Scary Movie 3, Sheen is no stranger to the game. As a boy, he played in Little League. As an adult, he participated in a Celebrity All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium in 1986. And in 1996, he took batting practice with the Seattle Mariners before a game. However, it was his work in three baseball-based films - Major League, Major League II, and Eight Men Out - that caught the eye of the Atlanta Braves. Read More »

U of Florida Student wins $1,000,000 on New Game Show “Power of 10″

Jamie Sadler, a 19 year old student at the University of Florida, was not only the first contestant to play for money, but was also the first contestant to net $1,000,000 on the new CBS game show “Power of 10.” The show hosted by Drew Carey features contestants predicting the results of polls of Americans on topics concerning politics and pop culture with the top prize being $10,000,000.

The ratings for the preire show (9.25 million) were very high and I feel it is the best new game show on TV. The questions are relevant to our age bracket and (although I hate to admit it) Drew Carey does a great job as host.

After the jump check out a clip of Jamie Sadler’s $1,000,000 question to get a good idea of what the show is all about. Read More »
