In what would seem a desperate attempt at vindication, Crystal, a 16-year-old Florida resident has posted a video to YouTube.com claiming she was raped by a 23-year-old when she was 15 (16 is the age of consent in Florida), but the case was dropped by cold-blooded court because she was “almost 16.” Her bright pink YouTube page contains only this video (posted below), and lists the phone numbers for the Governor’s assistant and the State Attorney of Florida.
In the video, Crystal begins crying almost immediately, while she outlines her case, saying “I need help. I didn’t want to do it this way, but it’s the only that someone out there in the world’s going listen to me,” she sobs. “The State Attorney of Florida doesn’t want to prosecute a 23-year-old man who raped me, and drugged me and has me so mentally messed up that I can’t even go to public school anymore.”
