Haggling is a skill that all college kids MUST learn. Some universities offer haggling classes but not everyone has the time or money to take a mediation course. It’s an important life skill that needs to be honed by the time you are able to make big boy purchases. Haggling can save you big bucks when it comes to renting an apartment or buying a car.

Tom Chiarella spent the last three months haggling the price of every purchase he made.. which includes everything from hot dogs to TiVo at Best Buy. He took notes of each sale and turned the information into what should be considered the ultimate how to guide to haggling.

This is a must read for students and is much cheaper than taking a negotiating class in college.
