After dying from a cocaine and alcohol overdose last year, 19-year-old SDSU student Shirley ‘Jenny’ Poliakoff’s fate has been rectified after her death incited an investigation that resulted in yesterday’s massive drug-bust at San Diego State University. Ninety-six people were arrested, and a plethora of drugs and guns confiscated from six school fraternities.
“The biggest thing is that I’m glad something came of it,” Jenny’s older brother, Nate Poliakoff, who graduated from SDSU in ‘06, said in an interview with FOXNews.com. “After her death, we didn’t know there was an investigation going on, but I’m glad that the administration stepped up to the plate and said, we’re not going to tolerate this.”
Yeah, seriously. You know what would have been better? If they’d stepped up to the plate a year ago…
