Some of you may have never heard of Jack Kerouac. Others may have his novels memorized. Regardless, On The Road should be at the top of you summer reading list. The title says it all, so I won’t waste your time with a synopsis. Some find the post-WWII slang dated (which, of course, it is). But once you shake that from your mind, it could become the best book you’ve ever read.*
*May also make you quit your job, and drive across the country getting laid and drinking a lot. Which, if you think about it, is all you really want to be doing, anyway. But reading this book first will set the adventure-bar high. Ya dig?
