
Once again MySpace proves why it’s an inferior digital music source.
Artists and user pages throughout the MySpace world have been viciously hacked by a Trojan virus.
Visitors of Alicia Keys MySpace click anywhere on her page and are redirected to “co8vd.cn/s” which asks the user to install video software by clicking “OK.” When the user chooses to install the “video software,” they upload a virus that allows hackers to take over their computer.
“They are going to catch a lot of people with this one,” said Roger Thompson, chief technology officer of Exploit Prevent Labs. “This is a a very rich media page, as are most MySpace pages.
